Homework is often one of the greatest sources of conflict between parents and children.
In this workshop you will learn some effective strategies for:
• Supporting your child effectively with homework
• Avoiding battles
• Encouraging ‘ownership’ and self-discipline
• Creating rules and best times for homework

Kathryn Tonges has conducted parenting courses for 30 years. She has been a primary school teacher and also taught from early childhood to tertiary level with a focus on Child Development and Effective Communication Skills. In Australia, Kathryn coordinated a Family Support Program. She currently conducts parenting courses for expats in Beijing. She is married with two adult sons.

Kathryn’s presentation style is interactive, informative, motivational and personal.
