Our School

The British School of Beijing is a selective, high achieving school for children of expatriate families. We have an outstanding record of ensuring and developing academic success and in placing students in both top Universities worldwide and supporting families whose children will return to UK’s premier boarding schools. This is facilitated by our highly experienced and dedicated staff, whom are required to take part in continuous professional development to ensure the very highest standards. We offer an exceptional range of extra-curricular activities aimed to develop the whole child and to allow enhanced learning opportunities.

Uniquely within China, BSB is inspected by the ISI (The UK’s independent schools inspectorate) to assure all families that our standards, both academic and pastorally, match those of the UK’s best independent schools.

Our Locations

With 2 campuses in Beijing, we are the only school with the ability to suit families looking to live either downtown in the city centre or those looking in the family friendly suburbs of Shunyi. Our campuses have a range of outstanding facilities, with gymnasiums, fitness suites, football pitches and tennis and basketball courts, along with an indoor swimming pool and dance studio.
